Get Learners Involved

Whenever possible, I love incorporating a call to action into trainings. These little engagement pieces encourage learners to take their training outside of the training environment and practice their skills or apply their knowledge to real world situations. The eLearning below is an example of adding a call to action at the end of an online course (see Course Conclusion lesson in the course menu). I added the option to send an email to the learner’s supervisor, inquiring on ways in which the learner can get involved in maintaining a safe workplace. The feature to send the email is optional, and learners can choose to simply continue without sending an email.

Check out this stripped-down example of the course below.
